You will be the first engineering manager for the Growth Platform, and you’ll help shape its vision, starting with the Communications capability. The platform will grow as we prove value. You’ll partner with leadership to define the platform’s direction, assess existing technology, identify the next set of investments, and help evolve the vision through learning gained from shipping, customers, and overall ecosystem. While aiming for the sky in terms of longer term vision, you will deliver incremental value every sprint by being grounded in today's reality. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: • Build and lead the team: Hire the initial engineers for the Growth Platform’s first team. Set the team’s culture, operating rhythm, and engineering standards.
