Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead recruiting across Japan, supporting both technical and non-technical hiring, including Engineering, Product Management, Sales, G&A, and leadership roles. - Build and develop a high-performing recruiting team while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Partner closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into scalable hiring strategies and market plans. - Serve as a trusted advisor on the Japan talent market, providing insights on the competitive landscape, compensation t…
