If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us! Figma's Product Legal team is growing! We are seeking a proactive, business-minded Senior Product Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will act as a primary legal partner for our Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams, helping them navigate novel, complex legal questions as our product releases accelerate. We are looking for a strategic thinker with an ownership mentality who can help us build a practical, forward-looking approach to risk management. You'll report to the Director, Product Legal, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we scale legal guidance across the organization. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: • Partner directly with Figma's Product, Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to provide practical legal guidance on product development and go-to-market strategy • Review product user experiences, disclosures, and external marketing and communications materials to mitigate legal risk while helping our teams achieve their goals • Partner with cross-functional Legal teams (Commercial, IP, Regulatory) to ensure cohesive strategy and support • Advise on legal issues relating to data protection, privacy, consumer protection, IP, and evolving AI-specific laws and regulations…
