Staff Software Engineer, Frontend (App Experience)

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. The Marketplace and App Experience domain is the main pillar of our core consumer strategy, driving the user journey across all of our frontend surfaces: iOS, Android, and Web. The teams span across multiple products and areas to engage and provide value to our customers, starting with the Home hub in the app or website, which expands into the various product offers and journeys a user can embark on with Affirm. This role will be at the forefront of our front end technical strategy, working closely with other experts across our mobile and web technologies, while also evolving and collaborating with every product experience team at Affirm. You’ll bring React with TypeScript expertise to work alongside our product engineering teams. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks including coordinating and implementing broader product features from Figma or product requirements in high stakes critical projects, migrating and modernizing our web code implementation, design systems, and architecture, and doing this efficiently through building and/or reusing codemods, AI agent skills, and tools.
